VISIT PAMPLONA FESTIVALS OF SAN FERMIN AND ENCIERRO

According to historical sources, in the year 1385, when Charles II of Navarra reigned, in Pamplona primitive bullfights were already celebrated, different from the current ones but which implied that the bulls had to reach the square to be "bullfighting", or to "Play" with them without death.
If we admit that the running of the bulls was born as the accompaniment of the bulls through the streets of the city when they were transferred to the plaza, it will be necessary to deduce that at least 600 years ago there was already an embryonic running of the bulls in Pamplona, and that perhaps there was another “unclosure” , when the animals left the city, because then they did not die in the square.
Today the San Fermín Festival is one of the most famous in the world. These parties generate an incredible economic, media and social impact. During 9 days of festivities the city changes color, turning white and red.
