Day 1. GASTRONOMY AND NATURE IN THE HEART OF GIPUZKOA

09:30 Pick up at the accommodations. First, we will approach the Fagus Alkiza Interpretation Center in Hernio-Gaume. Its three pillars are nature, human beings and culture.

Biodiversity, Sustainability and Traditions will open the doors for us to better understand the Culture of the Basque Country. We will end the morning at the Ur Mara Museum, where through ecology, ethnography, philosophy and poetry, we will experience the freedom and knowledge of the human being.

Lunch in a winery with the famous variety of Txakoli wine. With Denomination of Origin Getaria, we will know its secrets, we will taste its wines, all in a 12th century farmhouse. After lunch at the Txakoli Winery (not included), and to end the day, you cannot miss the Idiazabal Cheese. Visit the Goine cheese factory in Asteasu on the slopes of Mount Hernio.
