Day 1. ITUREN AND ZUBIETA CARNIVALS

Monday ZUBIETA CARNIVAL

09h Reception at the Elgorriaga Spa. Transfer by van. We will know all the details of this carnival and its characters. Lunch not included. Chat with the Joaldunak as we see how they dress and prepare for the parade. Carnival parade knowing the life and culture of the valleys of the Water (malderreka).

15:30 pm End of the main carnival parade, driving away the witches and evil spirits. Food to decide not included.

 

Tuesday ITUREN CARNIVAL

PRICES IN PRIVATE VEHICLES

Youth price (12-17 years): € 32 / youth

INCLUDES:

- Transportation between Ituren and Zubieta

- Guided visit to Ituren and Zubieta (depending on the day of attendance).

- Local expert guide.

 

DOES NOT INCLUDE:

- Lunch with Joaldunak. Based on garlic soup, eggs, bacon, chistorra, coffee and drinks included. Approximate price of € 15 / pers.

NECESSARY AND ADVISABLE MATERIAL

- Masks: Either standard (4h) or FFP2 or KN95 (8h). It is recommended to bring at least one pair of replacement masks.

- Hydroalcoholic gel.

- Comfortable clothes and shoes.

- Sunglasses and sunscreen.

- Cap with visor or hat to protect us from the sun.

- Oilskin.

 

COVID-19 PROTOCOL

- During the visits, the maximum groups are marked in each place. Therefore, according to the composition of the group, it will be divided based on these protocols.

- For lunch at noon, we will comply with the protocols established for the hospitality industry.

- Each family unit goes in their car, so we avoid contact during transfers.

- We must bear in mind that we are going to rural areas and that we have to respect the established protocols at all times and with great scruples. The local population may have some fear and suspicion that people from outside their territory can carry the virus to them. With which we have to be very respectful with them and with the protocols.

- We will greet each other without physical contact.

- For your safety and that of everyone, if you have a fever or any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have been in contact with someone with Covid-19 in the last 10 days, refrain from participating in the activity. - Maintain a safety distance of 1.5 meters between people who do not live together.

- The use of a mask is mandatory if the safety distance is not maintained.

- Cleaning hands with hydroalcoholic gel very frequently.

- Do not exchange material or share drinks, food, sun creams or lipsticks. What one person has touched cannot be touched by another without first having been disinfected (if they are not a family unit living together).
