We propose a day that we will start in Asteasu, getting to know Bernardo Atxaga's Obaba world through the Lagarto path, to continue with a walk through the natural environment of the interior of Gipuzkoa through the Ferrería path. After enjoying a meal of local and seasonal produce, we will end the day with a visit to the Chocolate Museum.
Muskerraren Bidea ("the lizard's way") is a pleasant two-kilometer walk that will allow us to get to know Asteasu and Obaba, the places of Bernardo Atxaga. With the help of the explanations recorded by Bernardo Atxaga himself (accessed through QR codes that appear on various panels), we will approach the rectory where Juan Bautista Agirre and General Lizarraga lived, and the birthplace of Antonio Arrue.
The Ferrería Trail is a simple 3-hour tour that offers a complete view of the municipality of Larraul. Starting from the square, we will find the Txuringadi Mill and later the Olazar (Ibeltz) ironworks.
To end the day you cannot miss a visit to the Rafa Gorrotxategi Chocolate Museum in Tolosa.
