Camino de Santiago del Perdón to Puente la Reina
Information
The Sierra del Perdón, on whose hill a wind farm has been installed, sets the tone for today's stage, with a forceful and stony descent. El Alto del Perdón is a magnificent viewpoint, and if the weather allows it, we can see behind Pamplona and the Pyrenees; ahead, we will see the small towns of the extensive Navarran plain through which we will pass today. Villages made of stone from the region, tinged with the nearby cereal fields.
We will end by visiting Puente la Reina, a town that was born by and for the Via Compostelana. Founded in the 12th century by Alfonso I the Battler, it admirably preserves its initial urban fabric. Its urban structure is an example of a "town-street", a villa built around its main street and not around a protective castle.

People leaving with transport, picked up at the accommodation in Pamplona.
We began our journey to first meet Muruzábal, with its baroque palace of the time, now converted into a winery. A small detour through the countryside connects us with the so-called Aragonese Way of Santiago to find the 12th century Hermitage of Eunate in a lonely plain and for many, a magical place due to its symbolism. The track comes out onto the asphalt road to ascend to Obanos known as the village of the Infanzones. Our tour ends in Puente la Reina, emblematic town of the Camino in Navarra, crossing its Calle Mayor among beautiful examples of civil and religious architecture to finish at its beautiful Medieval Bridge, from which it receives its name. Transfer to the drivers of each car to the Mirador del Perdón, start of the walk, where the cars are parked.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Minimum group 4 people with transport and 6 people without transport. Group maximum 16 people (always depending on the protocols in place at the time of departure).
- For the transport option, the minimum group is 2 paying people, once the minimum group has been confirmed in own transport.
- Visits may undergo modifications, both in content and form, due to changes in the entities to be visited, due to weather issues, for reasons beyond our control, or programming adjustments.
- The guide will enforce the health protocols at all times. In case of non-compliance by any participant, by decision of the guide, he will leave the group and will not have the right to any refund.
- Our excursions and guided visits are not canceled due to adverse weather conditions. Navarra can offer us a very different climate from one valley to another, even on the same day.
- Do not walk excessively, but it is advisable to bring comfortable closed shoes.
